Patch 0.15 Notes

Vespera 1.0 launched on 4 September 2026. The numbered launch did not invent offline combat. It sat on patches 0.15.0 through 0.15.3 plus earlier 0.11.3 quality-of-life. If you bought in Early Access (21 July 2026) and a July review still lives in your head, read this page before you reroll. Then read Patch 1.0 for the launch QoL headline.

Official Steam news for 0.15.1, Hotfix 15, 0.15.2, and 0.15.3 is the source. This wiki groups the player-facing systems. When the client and a paragraph disagree, the client wins.

0.11.3 — the missing vocabulary

Before the 0.15 train, 0.11.3 (23 July 2026) added tools the rest of the wiki now assumes:

  • Permanent Damage Report with charts, ranked sources, fight history, records, and survival stats.
  • Loop-Fight rename from Auto-Combat, with clearer ON/OFF. See controls.
  • Clockless Rush works with the Any HP Auto-Cast condition.
  • Rough Gemstones drop from more normal dungeons.
  • Unintended Nightblade talent refunded a point.
  • World Boss events include all four scheduled fights and a next-boss countdown. Briefing, live battle, potion prep, contribution, rankings, and legendary-chance text all improved. Each boss got a rare signature visual.
  • Escape Game Menu: audio, Settings, save status, Save and Quit.
  • High UI Scale pass.
  • Mercenaries Codex plus an option to continue Standing Orders after failed expeditions.
  • Faction-chat manual translate/restore.
  • Inventory and Bank dropdowns on Linux and Proton.

If your mercenary bench still looks like a stat stick, open the Codex. If Loop-Fight is a mystery name, you skipped this patch in your memory, not in the client.

0.15.0 — Tower honesty

  • Tower 1 characters already between floors 1,000 and 1,999 could miss the first Ascension option. Reaching floor and permanent progress stayed; Ascending restarts Tower 2 at floor 1.
  • Tower XP no longer loses value because you replay a reached floor. Online and offline keep the floor’s fixed XP budget.
  • First-time clears from floors 1–100 give bounded catch-up XP for Combat Levels 140–153, landing at 154 at floor 100 for Awakening I. It never repeats.
  • Reclamation settles correct kill and completion XP, including eligible first-clear catch-up, without awarding the opening enemy twice. Combined waves use the strongest included enemy as health baseline plus a controlled bump per extra floor. Defense stays capped below the next protected boss.
  • Offline combat applies ability-specific Skill Engravings to damage, crit, cooldown, lifesteal, and bleed on supported routes.
  • Direct heals recover a meaningful percent of Max HP at high totals, with safety caps.
  • Gem Attunement is once from one selected equipped gem. Crown Imprints upgrade the gem itself. See elements.

0.15.1 and Hotfix 15 — load times

Long offline Tower and Spire returns process in batches. You can enter the character while math continues. Offline results no longer pop automatically; the Offline Rewards button shows progress. Old saves strip temporary enemy records that caused severe delays. Bestiary, highest floors, and character progress stay. Caravans use the current subclass portrait. Spire auto-advance no longer jumps the Equipment panel. Raid Boss Combat Log stays below the Windows titlebar.

Hotfix 15 cut character load after long idle Tower and Spire sessions, including Reclamation. Paused, disabled Auto, and unpaid Spire runs stay inactive. Spire Tarot bonuses during offline combat — ability damage, crit, cooldowns, mana costs, mercenary damage — were fixed.

0.15.2 — modules, Lens, Academy gold

  • Ascension Modules at Tower 30 / 40 / 50: Crown Assault +4% Damage, Bastion Lattice 4% less taken, Quickstep Circuit +8% Haste. Each once.
  • Tower Gems collection of eight, with forge paths. Emerald names became sapphires.
  • Tower Codex: each 100-floor Echelon locks one of four hazards.
  • Frontier permanent stats summary, excluding temporary Region Seals.
  • Divine salvage: 1 Aberration Shard, 100 Aether, 1 Divine Honing Stone per two Honing ranks rounded down.
  • Mana Well tiers 16–20 retuned to a 25 percent step from Tier 15, with account-wide refunds in Gold, Eternal Bars, and Eternal Planks.
  • Nullhide, Ghosthide, Everhide leather: two hides, no extra shard.
  • Warden Farwatch Lens: still +15% Dexterity, 12s duration (was 8), 15s cooldown (was 20). Real alternative to Moonleaf Brand. See Warden.
  • Paused Spire no longer blocks Veiled Reliquary.
  • Auto Mana potions work offline in Areas, Dungeons, Nightmare, Tower, Frontier, and Spire.
  • Localization for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Spanish on the new systems.

0.15.3 — 1 September 2026

Long offline calculations respect your current activity. Starting Spire, Tower, or The Frontier while Offline Rewards are still calculating no longer lets the previous activity steal control. Paid Spire runs with stale Tower or Frontier data recover on the correct floor. Extreme offline Spire is bounded. Repeated Tower floors keep that floor’s XP. Details that overlap 1.0 live on the combat and Tower guides.

What to do on a 0.15 save in 1.0

Log in, wait for Offline Rewards, collect Mana Well compensation if you overpaid, confirm Lens tooltips, look for sapphires not emeralds, and keep the same character. Do not reset. Then follow the planner. Official files stay on Steam news and Discord via links.
