Patch 1.0 Notes

On 4 September 2026 Idle Gamers shipped Vespera 1.0 on Steam. The store event title is “Vespera 1.0 Releasing Today.” The companion note is “Patch 1.0” with the summary “Big QoL and bug fixes for Release 1.0.” Early Access had started 21 July 2026. If you are writing a guide, a review, or a Steam comment, those dates are the facts. This page is the player checklist for that launch, including the 0.15.x work that 1.0 sits on.

The Steam news bodies for the 1.0 posts were image-led. The useful mechanical text lived in the weeks before: 0.15.0 through 0.15.3. Treat 1.0 as “those fixes, plus launch QoL, plus the version number that says the game is out.”

First login after 1.0

  1. Let Offline Rewards finish before you start a new Spire or Tower job. See combat and offline.
  2. Check inventory and bank for Mana Well compensation (Gold, Eternal Bars, Eternal Planks) if you paid the old Tier 16–20 costs.
  3. Confirm Farwatch Lens tooltips if you play Warden: 12s duration, 15s cooldown, +15% Dexterity.
  4. Open Gem Crafting and look for sapphires, not the old emerald names.
  5. Craft Nullhide / Ghosthide / Everhide at two hides each if you still have leftover fragments earmarked for a deleted recipe cost. Gathering has the path.
  6. Do not reroll a class because a July review said endgame loops were thin. Test 1.0 for a week with the planner.

Combat and idle (the reason people stayed)

Long offline combat now processes in batches so you can enter the character while math continues. The report no longer hijacks the screen; you open it when ready. Starting Tower, Spire, or Frontier while a calculation is running should not let the previous activity take over. Extreme Spire sessions are bounded. Auto mana potions work offline in the listed activities. Skill Engravings apply to the listed combat stats offline. Direct heals restore a real percent of a large HP pool.

If your 1.0 complaint is “I loaded and nothing happened,” wait for the Rewards button. If it is “I jumped 400 Spire floors,” that is the bug the bound was meant to stop — file it on Discord from links with the report attached.

Tower (the reason people came back)

Fixed XP per floor. Reclamation baselines. Catch-up to Combat Level 154 at Tower 100 for Awakening I, first-clear only. Ascension Modules at 30/40/50. Eight Tower gems with a collection UI. Echelon hazards locked per 100 floors. Soulbound plus Soulwake still want the item equipped. Full climb notes: Tower and Spire.

Economy

Mana Well refunds, cheaper late leather, Divine salvage into Aberration Shards, Aether, and Honing Stones. These are the 1.0-adjacent economy facts that change a gear session.

What 1.0 did not change

Still four classes with three subclasses each. Still a paid Steam game with no store-page microtransactions. Still AI-generated art disclosure. Still single-player campaign with faction Titans, not a raid MMO with shared instances. Still 24-hour offline cap. Still Windows, mouse required, Steam Deck Playable. The review argues whether that package is for you; the patch does not invent a new genre.

Price and platforms at launch

List price on Steam was $7.99, with an introductory 25 percent cut advertised around launch (ending 18 September on the store widget we saw). Confirm the live widget. Languages on the store: English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America), Thai, Traditional Chinese. This wiki covers English plus Spanish, Thai, and Traditional Chinese.

After you collect the QoL, go play. Open getting started if the character is new, or the tier list if you finally want to commit to a kit. The updates hub will catch the next numbered note.
